Be at your stop 5 minutes ahead of time 2. Once the bus is in motion, you’ve missed the bus. Running for the bus, waiting in vehicles and unnecessary delays will not be tolerated. 3. Remain seated and obey the driver at all times 4. Keep your hands to yourself 5. No vandalism. Restitution for damages will be required. 6. You are not allowed on the bus when you’re sick 7. No eating/drinking on the bus 8. Get on/off at your designated stop only 9. No physical or verbal abuse to other passengers 10. Use your indoor voice in the bus 11. Always carry your bus pass with you. It is important to have in the event of a substitute driver 12. Your city bus pass must be shown every time you board the transit bus, or fare will need to be paid 13. Do not throw anything in the bus or out the window 14. Fighting, hitting, smoking and foul language are prohibited on the bus. 15. Transit passengers are expected to follow the Yellowknife Transit Etiquette Guide, and riding privileges may be suspended if they fail to do so. 16. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure all contact information is correct and up to date. In the event that a parent/guardian is unreachable via phone, the child will be returned to their school. 17. For parents whose children are in Kindergarten or Grade 1, if your child needs to be met at their bus stop, you must be at their bus stop 5 minutes before their scheduled time. If you are not at the bus stop when the bus arrives and are unreachable via phone, the child will be returned to their school. 18. There is zero tolerance for verbal or physical abuse towards the bus drivers or office staff.
